CHEYENNE, WY, June 24-
The founder of the world's most
popular religion, Christianity,
was the natural son of a Roman
soldier, according to Eddie
Kendrick, a local new testament
scholar.
"Yes, Mary, the mother of
Jesus, was raped by a Roman
soldier and our Saviour was
the outcome of that awful,
brutal act- an act I now
can prove defined His mission
in life," Kendrick said.
Kendrick is the founder and
research director of the
Center for Gospel Truth here
in Cheyenne.
According to Kendrick, several
newly unearthed documents
dating reliably from the "proper
AD vicinity" lead "infallibly
to one and only one possible
conclusion: they are the
authentic Jesus trial writings
of Pontius Pilot himself."
"The Jesus we have revealed to
us in these Pilot Papers," said
Kendrick, "is a real flesh and
blood man. A living product of
Roman imperial oppression-
defying that oppression and
being crucified for his
defiance."
The rape of Jesus’ mother Mary
occured either in 5 or 4 BC,
according to Kendrick’s
findings.
"During a Roman suppression
campaign in the Galilee," he
said.
According to Kendrick, "We’ve
known for centuries that a
Roman general named Varus,
late in the year 5 BC, led a
three legion strong force
south from their base in
Antioch into the holy land."
Kendrick says Varus' ensuing
campaign criss-crossed
through the Galilee for over
7 months, as he attempted to
rid this long-rebellious area
of resistors to Roman rule.
Varus’ soldiers, says
Kendrick, followed standard
operating proceedures for
Roman legionaries on punitive
expeditions like this.
"It was your typical imperial
suppression operation," said
Kendrick. "Slaughter of the
populace, ruination of the
countryside- as heavy-handed
and indescriminate as
possible."
Varus was "a past master at
this," according to Kendrick.
The list of human abuses
would certainly have included
wide-spread raping and looting
by the lower ranks .
"And by chance or providence,
this led to the conception of
the man who would become, in
his afterlife, either the
world's greatest inspiration
or greatest delusion,"
Kendrick said.
Obviously, this hardly squares
with the Bible's account.
"The gospel accounts are a
patchwork of cobbled-up
fairytales," said Kendrick.
"Evil fairy tales."
"Take, for instance," he
continued, "Matthew’s
account of Harrods'
slaughter of the infants.
That's a typically perverse
blame-the-Jews cover-up
hiding the real Roman
genocidal action led by Varus
and motivated purely by
imperial Rome's desire for
unchallenged hegemony."
"Scholars have known about
this flim-flam for generations,"
Kendrick claimed.
Exposing bible error is
nothing new to Kendrick.
"For years now, I’ve been
uncovering one thing foul
after another. Layer after
layer of it," he said.
"If you look at it straight
up, the new testament turns
out to be a giant stack of
pro-imperial liabels,
jewish scapegoatings, and
slave/child sing-alongs-
you know, "hold on I'm
comin" stuff.
"Textual fiddles and
jiggerroos... snatches of
hellenic mystic smells and
bells... visions of
bottom-rail-on-top
paybacks... a kingdom come
under complete Skyprince-
goodness type auspices with
the special categorical
toil and suffer 'til then,
or 'til death, whichever
comes first. Obey orders
from the Saviour, zip up,
work hard, render on to...
oh, and, of course, rejoice
at the eternal future I’ve
provided you.
"That and very little more,"
said Kendrick. "That's all
the gospel offers."
Until recently, Kendrick
says, his work had been
restricted to the second,
third, and fourth century
overlays.
"I spent 12 years peeling
away the grotesque
overpainting and touch-ups
of the original first century
stories we like to call the
gospels.
"I did it," he said, "with
the hope I’d find the true
gospel stories still alive
under all that malfeasant
tampering."
"Of course," he added,
"that was until six months
ago, while I still believed
there was truth to be found
in those first century gospel
stories.
"But then I got my hands on
some documents which made me
very quickly realize that
even reconstructed late
first century texts are at
least as false as the worst
post-Constantine papal
forgeries.
"I now have the missing
reports sent back to Rome
by Pontius Pilot, and they
make a whole lot of things
look a whole lot different."
The gap in the otherwise
detailed reporting of Pilot's
public acts back to the Emperor
covers the years 29-32 AD.
"Like the missing stretch of
the Nixon tapes, this gap looks
mighty suspicious, but what
happened to them- where they
went- has been a puzzle
unsolved by generations of
scholars," said Kendrick.
"Until now, that is. But now
the puzzle’s solved, turns out
the Vatican boys had the
paperwork all along."
Kendrick himself refuses to
reveal how he got a copy.
"Let's just say, don’t bet
against its authenticity," he
said.
In the year 31 AD, Jesus and
eleven of his followers were
tried for sedition in
Jerusalem. The uncovered
Pilot papers contain the
Jesus case "layed out in
detail," according to
Kendrick.
In the papers, Jesus
proclaims himself the
natural son of a Roman
soldier who had raped his
mother.
Jesus, in Pilot’ s memoir of
the trial, pleads guilty
"and without the slightest
reluctance" to, among other
things, a plot to free all
local gentile slaves and wipe
out the slumbering,
festival-soaked Roman
garrison on the night of June
first- Jupiter Day.
According to Kendrick, Pilot
writes in his memorial of the
trial that for all twelve
accused, the verdict had to
be crucifixion. Only the most
public and gruesome of
executions is sensible, he
writes, given the
conspirators' intentions.
All twelve were duly
crucified; their bodies left
to rot on their crosses as a
warning to all.
There is no mention in the
Pilot text, according to
Kendrick, of Jesus "being
removed early or his death
causing a movement to rise up.
In fact, there are no more
mentions of Jesus or his
movement in all the rest of
Pilot's papers. No Elvis-like
sightings. No nothing. The
movement submerged for years
before flaring up again."
That, says Kendrick, is the
real story- a story bent
completely out of recognition
over and over again for at
least the next 400 years.
"Take one dimension that has
caused tragedy and
hell-on-earth for a hundred
and thirty generations of
Jews," said Kendrick. "A label
Jews unfortunate enough to
live among Christians have
suffered for ever since."
"The god-killing Jews
business-" he said, "the story
of a fiendish Jewish
leadership screaming for the
blood of this peaceful man
from Nazareth, a money-crazed,
blood-hungry priesthood
capable of leading a dopey,
indifferent Roman power
structure around by the nose
and, out of fear and greed
and the badest of bad faith,
causing the Son of God to be
crucified...
"All that garbage, all that
scapegoating washes away and
as it vanishes, what's left
is a freedom fighter: A
Jewish half-breed, empire-
bashing fire-breather."
According to Kendrick,
Pilot's account includes a
series of condemnations of
the Roman oppression straight
out of the mouth of Jesus
himself. Condemnations
"worthy of Moses and the
Profits,"
"No, he wasn’t a Mahatma
type. Not one bit," Kendrick
said. "All that turn-the-
other-cheek-love-your-enemies
business, that's all a
post-Constantine 4th century
redaction."
"By the way," he added, "the
word redaction, that's what
you call a forgery if you
think a Bishop did it.
"And that goes double if the
forger is probably also a
saint. You don’t forge if
you're a saint. You redact."
Kendrick likes to drive his
points home hard.
"The unfaked Jesus, or I
should say, Joshua- let’s
call him by his Hebrew name-
the real honest-to-god guy
under all that overlay, he’s
a proud Jew, an anti-Roman
agitator, and most of all,
a fighter. A F-I-G-H-T-E-R
fighter.
"He opposed the Romans 'til
they killed him, just as
they killed tens of
thousands of other Jews who
opposed them before finally
wiping out Judea entirely
between 70 and 150 AD."
Though the pilot papers are,
according to Kendrick, "the
biggest bomb and best
example of what I now have,"
they’re not all he has.
He has other documentary
evidence which chronicles
the later evolution of "the
Jesus Movement."
"These documents reveal the
true history of the
movement," said Kendrick.
According to him, "In the
70 years following the mass
crucifixions of 31 AD, the
movement nearly vanished
twice: Once right after
Jesus’ execution and again
in the 60s at the time of
the major rebellions in
Judea that led to the Roman
destruction of the temple
in AD 70."
During the early 60’s, a
revived and revitalized
Jesus movement under the
leadership of Jesus’ younger
brother James was, in
Kendrick's view, "clearly at
the forefront of the Judean
rebellion and, consequently,
was systematically hunted
down and wiped out along
with nearly everyone else
willing to stand up and
fight Rome."
Years later, in the early
90’s, when it finally
re-emerged, it re-emerged,
said Kendrick, "turned
totally inside out."
"This reborn resurrected
movement," he said, "is the
one that created the
gospels.
"The whole pre-gospel
period is lost not just in the
bible, but in other pagan
texts as well, like Tacitus,
Seutonius and Josephus.
"Their texts were either
monkeyed with over the
centuries by faith-drunk
friars or were just plain
wrong from the get go."
"Take the Nero story- it’s
a fairly typical feggazee,"
Kendrick continued. "The
Roman fire scapegoating
the so-called 'Christ Jews?'
Give me a break -- this is
the work of some wormy
Santa's little helper,
probably cooking the Pagan
books around 500 A.D.
My God! The whole martyrdom
with rows of crosses heading
out of Rome in five
directions like in the movie
Sparticus? It’s a sick joke."
"In reality," said Kendrick,
"the Jesus movement was wiped
out systematically inside and
outside of Judea by the
imperial state. By Nero's
time all that remained was an
armed core of followers in
Jerusalem and maybe Antioch."
According to Kendrick,
copies in his possesion of
papers from the period
55-70 A.D. show the detailed
Roman imperial plan to wipe
out this dead Jew’s
unquashable movement once
and for all.
"Obviously," said Kendrick,
"it was wiped out, not for
it's other-world prophecies,
but for it's real opposition
to slavery and imperial rule."
Amazingly, even the church's
greatest single source of
enlightenment and direction
after the savior himself-
St. Paul the Devine- plays
a dark role in Kendrick's
reconstruction.
"The Paul of Tarsus story,"
Kendrick said, "the letters,
the acts, all of it; every bit
was cooked up!
"Why? To bury the truth about
the destruction of the original
organization including James
and the other real and honest
followers.
"This guy Saul calling himself
Paul- the persecutor turned
zealot- in actual fact he was
a Roman infiltrater," said
Kendrick. "The real Judas
story is the Saul/Paul story
and it's got to be the
dirtiest story never told,"
Kendrick added. "Through a
series of remakes at century's
end- all guided by Roman
agents- the Jesus movement
was resurrected AGAIN, now
renamed the Christ movement.
"This late first century State-
sponsored fraud, is the ancestor
of the Roman church we know
today," said Kendrick. "It was
an easy play. The second-
century Pagan majority steam-
rolled the Jewish national
struggle into a symbolic
prefiguration, and while they
were at it they mixed in a bunch
of Hellenic other-worldly mumbo
numbo, while objectively just
pandering to the Empire.
"Take the institution of
slavery," said Kendrick, "the
platform of the Empire all
the balderdash all that
mystified and muddled better-
place-on-high gawble-de-gook.
That's where all that came in,
all part of the co-optation.
The record is clear on this.
"The Romans were sharp,"
said Kendrick, "They figured
out after a few decades that
they couldn’t lick the symbol
called Jesus. So they said to
themselves: 'Well if we can’t
lick him then let's fix him.
Let's steal him and make him
our boy. We can make him over."
"It would be as if THE FBI AND
THE CIA decided to reconfigure
the memory of Malcolm Little
so in popular memory he went
from the Malcolm X we know to
some one more like, say,
Michael Jackson."
How about the second coming?
"A put up job," claimed
Kendrick. According to his
findings there never was a
period when the first followers
were waiting around for the
return.
"The real movement was trying
to bring about the fall of
Rome, not waiting around for
the kind of sky show you get
in John’s apocalypse.
"That was a crafty bit of work!
Sort of a look-yonder-pal-
while-we-grab-your-wallet,
only aimed at guys with no
wallets, aimed at guys with
only a lifetime of do-it-or-
rue-it work ahead of them
the folks we now like to call
slaves," he says.
"Around the 90s came
'gospel time,'" claims Kendrick,
"and damn if it didn’t catch
on! They let the cult come back
as an anti-Jew movement. And
after a few decades of drift
it started to spin faster and
faster, into kinky sex and
dungeon dancing.
"Remember the environment. So
yet another face lift was
deemed to be in order," he goes
on, "Hence the late second
century/early third century
sees the monks, the desert
abstentions, the body whippings,
the faith healings, prayer-a-
thons, all that JAZZMATAZZ got
applied.
"Just as the church hierarchy
hipped everyone to their bread-
wine-and-holy-water monopoly
and begain to consolidate the
whole sacerdotal blanket-toss,
the baptismal okay-dokey, the
weekly communions, the whole
set-up, the blood, the staff,
and the queers.
"It was a plain and simple
hijacking. Opiate of the
masses, empire style: 'don’t
dance, baby; just trance.'
"Then what else is left but
to make it official. Enter
Constantine the Great. Now
it's a State religion. Heresy
hunts...codification...Popes
in jewels and finery...all
that God-forsaken 'prince of
the Church' stuff."
The story made Kendrick shake
his head and reflect: "Can
anyone really not see that
curve ball move through time?
Moving through its stages?
It's got to be the biggest,
slowest breaker ever thrown
at a desperately gullible
world. It tells you a lot
about humans when you think
about how that whole business
about God's-only-begotten-
son-our-savior-coming-among-
us-humble-getting-killed-
some-day-coming-back-as-a-
king-to-judge-and-rule-over-
us-for-ever. It tells you a
lot about us that we swing
at this over and over like
it's a straight pitch."
